Ha Long Bay, best landscape in Vietnam

Location: Halong Bay is located in the north of Vietnam, is part of the western Gulf, including the sea area of Halong City, Cam Pha Town and part of Van Don island district. South-west of Cat Ba Island, the mainland to the west with a coastline of 120 km, the Gulf has a total area of 1969 km2 in 1553 large and small islands, 989 islands and 980 unnamed islands . World Heritage area is a recognized 434 km2, including 775 islands area, such as a triangle with three vertices of the island of Dau Go (west), Ba Ham Lake (south) and Cong Tay Island (side is).

On 17/12/1994, at the 18th session of the World Heritage of UNESCO, held in Thailand, Ha Long Bay was officially recognized as a world natural heritage with an outstanding value in terms of aesthetics, according the standards of the international Convention on the protection of the World cultural and Natural Heritage. It is one best landscape in the world. On 12/02/2000, at the 24th Conference of Cairns, Queensland, Australia, the Council of World Heritage Ha Long Bay has been recognized as the second World Heritage value standard geological and geomorphology. Currently, the province of Quang Ninh promotes filed UNESCO Heritage Ha Long Bay is the third world, based on the value of archeology and biodiversity in the Gulf.
